Found out about this little “toy” over on dy/dan
Be careful if you decide to copy your “rating” image over to your blog. When I copied the code provided for that purpose, they had slipped in a cash advance loans ad, which I removed.
There’s no description of how the reading level is assessed, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt!

Junior high.
I wonder if that’s good or bad.
I guess it depends who your target audience is. And like I said, there’s no description of the algorithm, so it may well be totally meaningless.
